Highcliffe Clothiers + Middleburg, VA

In the middle (hah, get it) of Virginia Hunt Country lies Middleburg, VA. On an overcast day it could double for the country hamlet from Withnail and I, but on a sunny, beautiful spring day it's a wonderful place to which to escape.

We stopped into Highcliffe Clothiers for a bit of a looksee. Really nice stuff and if you need a custom suit, they do that too. Also, some great scotch while you wait.

Way Out There

Sorry for the longish hiatus but I have a unbelievably hot new girlfriend so that's been a large contributor to my minor absence. I've got some things in the works, but for now, this:

Freeman's Sporting Club

I can't afford this stuff in real life so thankfully I happened across a sample sale the last time I was in NYC and I snagged a nice pair of their selvedge jeans for an insane price. Nice little stretch of town there. Stopped into Gant Rugger X Michael Bastian and Monocle shortly thereafter. I had to cuff the jeans about 7 inches to try them on because I'm built like spongebob squarepants. Gonna need a tailor for sure.
